October class by post – Gold and Plaid card

This card is a bit different from the others in the kit, and shows how snowflakes can be warm as well as frosty! I used a card base using Crumb Cake cardstock, and cut a square of Plaid Tidings DSP using a square from the Stitched Shapes dies.  I then cut a snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes dies using Gold Foil that was backed with adhesive sheets, and layered this on top.  Finally I used a Cherry Cobbler brush marker to colour some of the words on the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set.  This technique lets [...]

October class by post – Snowflake Diorama card

This card folds flat for posting, and pops up to create a diorama of falling snowflakes.  Full instructions are provided with the October Class by Post.  I used Thick Whisper White for the card base, stamping all over in Misty Moonlight ink using the stamps from Snowflake Wishes.  I cut the aperture using the So Many Snowflakes dies, and scored the bottom of the card using my trimmer.  I stuck a piece of Snowflake Splendor DSP inside the card.  I cut a piece of Window Sheet slightly smaller than the card base and stuck it to the inside using [...]

October class by post – Twisted Snowflake mini card

Another easy but fancy fold card.  Take a strip of Pacific Point cardstock and score in two places so you create a square card with a square flap at each side.  Score each side flap diagonally from top left to bottom right, and fold over.  When the flaps are closed, the diagonal join will meet in the middle.  Decorate the outside flaps with triangles of Snowflake Splendor DSP and finish with layered snowflakes cut using the So Many Snowflakes dies, and add an adhesive-backed Blue gem to the centre.  Add a square of Whisper White inside and stamp the [...]
