Christmas Tree card – stepped up versions

Using the small star stamp and matching/coordinating ink, stamp randomly on the Whisper White layer to create a background. It will look better if some of the star images are stamped off the edge of the card.  Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the layer, then glue to the card front Cut a DSP triangle and wrap Silver Mesh ribbon around it as described in the previous card, then stick to the front of the card.  Alternatively, stamp the stars over the cardstock strip. Cut small parcel shapes from strips of DSP, Silver Foil, [...]

Christmas Tree card

Measure along the bottom of the piece of DSP and mark at 3" (7.6cm), then at the top measure and mark at 1 ½" and 4 ½" (3.9cm and 11.5cm). Draw diagonal lines to join up the marks at top and bottom, and cut to give 3 triangles (see photo) Apply adhesive to the back of the triangle then wrap Silver Mesh ribbon diagonally around the shape. Glue DSP to each corner of the coloured cardstock layer leaving a small border around the edge. Glue the cardstock layer to the card base. Stamp your sentiment on the piece of Whisper White card. Use a punch to [...]

Wrapped Parcel Card

When sticking this DSP, I would recommend using a glue roller like Snail or Seal rather than a liquid glue like Tombow, as liquid glue can sometimes shine through the paper. Stamp your sentiment on the piece of Whisper White card. I find it easier to stamp first and trim afterwards.  Cut the corners from one end of the sentiment to create a tag shape Stamp one of [...]
